FAQs

My AC is running but not cooling. Is it a gas issue?

"No Cooling" is often due to three reasons: low gas (refrigerant leakage), a weak capacitor, or dirty filters caused by local dust and pollen. Ali Rehman Cool Engineer's technicians will perform a leak test before simply refilling the gas to ensure a long-term fix. We use genuine R22, R410a, and R32 gas.

Do you repair DC Inverter ACs? My PCB kit is damaged due to voltage fluctuation.

Yes, we specialize in DC Inverter technology. Voltage fluctuation (low/high voltage) is common in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, which can damage the sensitive PCB (circuit board) of Inverter ACs. We provide expert PCB repair and replacement services to get your unit running efficiently again.

Why is my electricity bill so high? Can servicing help?

Yes! A dirty AC with clogged coils consumes up to 30% more electricity because the compressor has to work harder. Regular AC servicing (General Service) cleans the condenser and evaporator, reducing amp usage and lowering your electricity bill. If you have an old non-inverter unit, we can also advise on upgrading to an energy-efficient Inverter AC.

My refrigerator is working, but the cooling is very low. Do I need gas?

Not necessarily. In many cases, low cooling is caused by dirty condenser coils (at the back of the fridge), a faulty thermostat, or a failing fan motor. We diagnose the root cause first. If gas is required, we use high-quality R134a or R600a refrigerant to ensure food safety and efficiency.

Are your technicians qualified?

Our team is skilled and trained to handle all AC and electrical repairs safely.
